Katie Melua是我來英國後第一個知道的英國歌手。當時在電視上聽到這首歌，馬上就被吸引了。清純甜美而不做作的嗓音，娓娓道出一種看似平靜實是緊繃，瀕臨崩潰邊緣的心境。

《Katie Melua小簡介》
1984年出生於喬治亞共和國（跟我同天生日），八歲移民北愛爾蘭，十四歲又移居至英格蘭。2003年十一月發行第一張個人專輯Call off the Search，立即在2004年一月攻佔英國熱門專輯排行第一名。而當中這首單曲The Closest Thing to Crazy更成為英國，愛爾蘭，挪威以及澳洲熱門單曲排行前幾名。Katie Melua至今發行過Call off the Search(2003)與Piece by Piece(2005)兩張專輯。
